Can a Church Legally Ask You to Leave
Can a church to boot someone out for something they did in their by when they are active member of the church and doing nothing wrong today?
From an extensive search online it seems like a church has a right to kick people out, which I observe stupid considering a church building is supposed to be all forgiving, but are they are legally allowed to do this? A church a is a public building and a place of worship. We accept rights to worship whatever God nosotros wish and being kicked from a church would infringe on these right. I have a friend who wanted to movement in with his girlfriend and he was told he would be kicked out of the church if he did so. I also know of someone with a not so great past. He sought help and attended a celebrate recovery program at the church building and confessed of a skid up he had not long before attending the recovery program so they kicked him out. I have also heard of churches kicking people out for being homosexual or wearing a shirt people establish offensive. None of this sounds right, or legal, to me. If the person is doing everything possible to better their lives, or doing null wrong at all, what right does a church have to excommunicate them?
